City wall of Acre, headquarters of the Knights Hospitaliers during the cruisades between 1104 and 1291, at which point the city became Mamluk and then Ottoman.
The remnants of the cruisaders walls were raised in 1750 by Ottoman ruler Zahir al-Umar and reinforced in 1800 by Jazzar Pasha, and then again in 1910.
